  1. to lament, to bewail, to groan, to complain, to weep, to deplore
    ողբամ զքեզ հայոց աշխարհ, ողբամ զքեզ հանուրց հիւսիսականաց վեհագոյնołbam zkʿez hayocʿ ašxarh, ołbam zkʿez hanurcʿ hiwsisakanacʿ vehagoynI mourn for you, Armenia! I mourn for you, oh chief among the nations of the North!
  2. to wear mourning
