հաշիւ

Old Armenian

Etymology

From Classical Syriac ܚܫܝܒ (ḥəšīḇ, considered, calculated), absolute masculine singular passive participle of ܚܫܒ (ḥəšaḇ, to think, count, calculate). According to J̌ahukyan, a borrowing from the Aramaic ancestor of the same is more probable.
