From Hurrian [script needed] (ḫinzur(i)) (possibly to be transcribed ḫnzor(i)), or its unattested Urartian cognate. Akkadian 𒄭𒂗𒍪𒊒 (/ḫinzūru/), Aramaic חֲזוּרָא (ḥăzzūrā), Classical Syriac ܚܙܘܪܐ (ḥazzūrā) are borrowed from the same source.
