κάποιος (kápoios) m  a specific indefinite pronoun and determiner

  1. someone, somebody (substantivally; as a "pronoun")
    Κάποιος σε πήρε τηλέφωνο.Kápoios se píre tiléfono.Someone phoned you.
    κάποιος έρχεται (someone's coming)
    Είδα κάποιον να έρχεταιEída kápoion na érchetaiI saw someone coming.
  2. some (adjectivally; as a "determiner")
