moffie
English
Etymology
Unknown, although probably borrowed from Afrikaans moffie. Possibly derived from mophrodite (a slang variant of hermaphrodite).[1] Other theories derive it from Afrikaans moffie (“mitten”) or from English mauve but are considered tenuous and far-fetched.[1]
