Etymology

From *mand-, from Proto-Albanian *manzda, nasal present of *mazdnja (to feed, fatten) (modern maj);[1] alternatively from *mh̥₂-n-d-,[2] also a nasal present of *mh̥₂dnje/o (modern maj). More at maj.
