horsewood (plural horsewoods)

  1. A West Indian mimosoid tree, Zygia latifolia, with showy crimson blossoms.
  2. Tropical shrub or small tree related to citrus, Clausena anisata, with a fetid scent which has been compared to that of horse urine.
