fylkesvei m (definite singular fylkesveien, indefinite plural fylkesveier, definite plural fylkesveiene)

  1. originally a county road in Norway owned and maintained by a county municipality (fylkeskommune). Those county roads that have road numbers are main roads that were originally called riksvei until officially renamed in 2010 and transferred to the counties, but they are still maintained by the state.
