- 子樂:「若由也,不得其死然。」 [Classical Chinese, trad.]
- Tử lạc: “Nhược Do dã, bất đắc kỳ tử nhiên.” [Sino-Vietnamese]
- The Master was pleased. He said, “You there ― he will not die a natural death.”
