bunzing

Dutch

Etymology

From Middle Dutch bunsinc, bonsinc, also boesinc, businc. Further etymology unknown, not found outside the Ingvaeonic language area. Probably a derivative of the dialectal term boes (stable) with the now-unproductive suffix -ing (originating from, inhabitant of).
