-ῐμος (-imos) m, f (neuter -ῐμον); second declension

  1. Added to the stems of verbs or verbal nouns in -σις (-sis) to form an adjective of possibility or capability: -able, -ible, -like, -ed
    δοκέω (dokéō, seem good) + -ιμος (-imos)δόκιμος (dókimos, approved)
