Suffix

-də

  1. Locative suffix appended to nouns in harmony with the nouns' lastest vowels ə, e, i, ö or ü.
    ev → evdə
    [the] house → in [the] house
    Çili → Çilidə
    Chile → in Chile

Usage notes

This suffix is to be preceded by an additional n when the noun it is appended to already ends with another suffix's vowel.

dostumun evi → dostumun evində
my friend's house → in my friend's house
