Suffix

-dir

  1. Suffix appended to verbs to derive a transitive verb, often with a causative meaning. Applies only to verb stems containing 'i', 'ə' and 'e'[1]
    gəzmək (to walk) + -dirgəzdirmək (to take out for a walk)
    bilmək (to know) + -dirbildirmək (to inform)
