Verspreiding en leefgebied

Deze soort komt voor in Djibouti, Ethiopië, Kenia en Somalië en telt twee ondersoorten:

  • L. a. albicapillus: van Somalië en Ethiopië tot uiterst noordoostelijk Kenia.
  • L. a. horrensis: zuidelijk Ethiopië en noordelijk Kenia.
