Tonyosynthemis claviculata is een libellensoort uit de familie van de zuidelijke glanslibellen (Synthemistidae) , onderorde echte libellen (Anisoptera).[1]

De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1909 door Tillyard.
