Rotem Gafinovitz

Rotem Gafinovitz (Hebreeuws: רותם גפינוביץ') (Maccabim, 9 juni 1992) is een Israëlisch wielrenner. Ze rijdt vanaf 2019 voor de Duitse wielerploeg Canyon-SRAM[1] en hiervoor bij Waowdeals Pro Cycling en diens voorganger WM3 Pro Cycling.[2]

Gafinovitz maakte haar wielerdebuut in 2010 waar ze bij de junioren als tweede eindigde in zowel de tijdrit als op de weg. In 2011 sloot ze zich aan bij het Belgische Dura Vermeer Cycling Team. Sinds haar 17e, in januari 2010, woont ze bij een gastgezin in Roosendaal.[3]

In 2015 won Gafinovitz zowel het Israëlisch kampioenschap wielrennen op de weg als het kampioenschap mountainbiken. Op 15 maart 2016 maakte zij de overstap naar de Nederlandse amateurwielerploeg Jos Feron Lady Force, om in 2017 prof te worden bij WM3 Pro Cycling, de ploeg van Marianne Vos onder leiding van Jeroen Blijlevens.
