Powerwolf

Powerwolf is een Duitse powermetalband, opgericht in 2003 door David Vogt en Benjamin Buss. De groep gebruikt donkere thema's en beelden, zowel muzikaal als lyrisch, in tegenstelling tot de traditionele powermetalmuziek. Daarnaast wordt gebruik gemaakt van corpse-paint, gotische composities en liederen over Transsylvaanse weerwolf- en vampierlegendes, wat ook atypisch is voor powermetalbands.
