Lucas Winnips debuteerde in november 2006 bij Uitgeverij 521 met zijn verhalenbundel Louise Honing. Enkele van de verhalen in deze bundel verschenen eerder in diverse literaire tijdschriften (onder andere Nymph en Passionate).
