De IndyCar Series 2015 was het twintigste kampioenschap van de IndyCar Series. De 99e Indianapolis 500 werd gehouden op 24 mei 2014. Het kampioenschap werd gewonnen door Scott Dixon, die evenveel punten had als Juan Pablo Montoya, die het gehele seizoen aan de leiding ging. Dixon werd uiteindelijk kampioen omdat hij drie overwinningen had tegenover twee zeges voor Montoya.

Het seizoen werd overschaduwd door het overlijden van Justin Wilson, die tijdens de race op de Pocono Raceway op 23 augustus geraakt werd door een onderdeel van een andere auto dat op zijn hoofd belandde. Een dag later overleed hij op 37-jarige leeftijd aan zijn verwondingen.
