Groot-Hamburgs voetbalkampioenschap 1923/24
In 1923/24 werd het derde Groot-Hamburgs voetbalkampioenschap gespeeld, dat georganiseerd werd door de Noord-Duitse voetbalbond.
Hamburger SV werd kampioen van de groep Alster en Union Altona van de groep Elbe. Beiden plaatsten zich voor de Noord-Duitse eindronde. Voor het eerst werd er wel een finale gespeeld tussen beide kampioenen van Groot-Hamburg.
In de voorronde versloeg Altona Borussia 04 Harburg en HSV versloeg SV 1907 Stralsund. In de groepsfase werd Altona tweede en HSV eerste.
Hierdoor plaatste de club zich voor de eindronde om de Duitse landstitel. Na winst tegen Vereinigte Breslauer Sportfreunde en SpVgg 1899 Leipzig plaatste de club zich voor de finale tegen 1. FC Nürnberg, die met 2-0 verloren werd.
