Dioryctria monticolella is een vlinder uit de familie van de snuitmotten (Pyralidae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1969 door Akira Mutuura, Eugene Munroe & Ross.[2]
