Chilabothrus is een geslacht van slangen die behoren tot de familie reuzenslangen (Boidae).[1]

De groep werd voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven door André Marie Constant Duméril en Gabriel Bibron in 1844. Er zijn tien verschillende soorten, die afwijken in uiterlijk en verspreidingsgebied. Alle soorten zijn bewoners van verschillende eilanden in het Caribisch Gebied.
