Biografie

Aquiro is een dochter van Adele en Salvatore Aquino. Zij is in 1979 afgestudeerd in biologie aan de Harvard-universiteit in Cambridge (Massachusetts) om hierna verder te gaan leren voor actrice aan Yale School of Drama in New Haven (Connecticut) en haalde haar master in Fine Arts.

Aquiro begon in 1987 met acteren voor televisie in de televisieserie Easy Street. Hierna heeft zij nog meerdere rollen gespeeld in televisieseries en films zoals Brooklyn Bridge (1991-1993), Boys on the Side (1995), Picket Fences (1995-1996), Judging Amy (1999-2000), Felicity (2000-2002), National Security (2003), Medical Examiners (2001-2004), Everybody Loves Raymond (2002-2005), ER (1995-2009), Brothers & Sisters (2009-2010) en Harry's Law (2011).

Aquiro is ook actief in het theater, zo heeft zij opgetreden in het stuk Living Out in Los Angeles en Third in New York.[1]

Aquiro is in 1995 getrouwd met Drew McCoy.[2][3]
