Yoon Kyung-shin

Yoon Kyung-shin (born July 7, 1973 in Seoul) is a Korean handball player. He was voted World Player of the Year 2001 by the International Handball Federation.[1]

Career

Yoon Kyung-shin played for the German club VfL Gummersbach from 1996 to 2006, and for HSV Hamburg during the 2006–07 season. He is the Bundesliga's all-time highest scoring player with 2,905 goals and was the league's top scorer in 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004 and 2007.[2]

He has played more than 260 games for the South Korea national handball team, and was top scorer at the 1995 and 1997 World Championships.

He was South Korean flag bearer at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
