Xiao Ruoteng

Xiao Ruoteng (simplified Chinese: 肖若腾; traditional Chinese: 肖若騰; pinyin: Xiào Ruòténg, born 30 January 1996) is a Chinese artistic gymnast.[1] He was a member of the bronze medal winning team at the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. After being left off China's team at the 2016 Summer Olympics, he returned to major competition in 2017 with several gold and silver medals at the Asian Championships. At the 2017 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, he won the all-around competition, becoming the first gymnast in 9 years other than perennial favorite Kohei Uchimura to win a major all-around title when Uchimura injured his ankle and withdrew during the qualification round. He shared the podium with teammate and silver medalist Lin Chaopan.
