Wrong Turn: The Foundation is an upcoming German-American horror film directed by Mike P. Nelson and written by Alan B. McElroy. The film is a reboot and the seventh installment of the Wrong Turn film series.

Plot

A team of friends are hiking the Appalachian Trail, they were confronted by The Foundation, a community of people who have lived in the mountains for hundreds of years.[1]

Production

In October 2018, a reboot of the Wrong Turn film series was announced.[2] The film will be directed by Mike P. Nelson and written by series creator Alan B. McElroy. Charlotte Vega will star in the film.[3]

Filming

Principal photography began on September 9, 2019 in Ohio[4][5][1] and wrapped on November 2.[6]
