Wisconsin Assembly District 58

The 58th Assembly District of Wisconsin is contained within Washington County, Wisconsin. The district contains the city of West Bend and the villages of Richfield, Jackson, and Slinger.[1] The district was last defined by redistricting Wisconsin Act 43 (2011).[2]

Representation

The 58th Assembly District is currently represented by Republican Rick Gundrum, who was first elected in a special election in January 2018 after the death of incumbent Bob Gannon.[3]

The district was previously held by Republican Patricia Strachota of West Bend, who was first elected in 2004 and was elected Assembly Majority Leader in 2014.[4] She did not seek reelection in 2014. Robert Gannon succeeded her until his death in October 2017.[5]
