Wang Seng-wei

Wang Seng-wei (Chinese: 王勝偉; pinyin: Wáng Shèngwěi; Wade–Giles: Wang2 Sheng4 Wei3; born 1 April 1984 in Taiwan) is a Taiwanese baseball player who currently plays for the Chinatrust Brothers of Chinese Professional Baseball League.[1] He currently plays as shortstop for the Elephants. In 2008 season, as a rookie, he gained the Stolen Bases Championship Award and was hit by the pitch 24 times, breaking CPBL single season high record.

Wang represented Chinese Taipei national baseball team at the 2004 Haarlem Baseball Week, 2005 Asian Baseball Championship, 2005 Baseball World Cup, 2006 Haarlem Baseball Week, 2006 World University Baseball Championship, 2008 Olympics qualifying tournament, 2009 World Baseball Classic, 2012 Asian Baseball Championship, 2017 World Baseball Classic.[2] and 2018 MLB Japan All-Star Series exhibition game against Japan[3].
