Technical Facilities

The station recently relocated its transmitter to a site on The Kings Highway fairly near the geographic center of the island near the Beaver Island Retreat near the Beaver Island Airport and increased it's HAAT from, 21.4 meters (70 ft) to 47.3 meters (155 ft) and decreasing it's wattage from 100 watts to 39 watts. The station uses a two-bay circularly polarized antenna driven by a Nautel VS-300LP transmitter.
