The station is an affiliate of the Calvary Radio Network and is currently owned by Calvary Radio Network, Inc. an Indiana non profit corporation that owns 12 full power stations and 17 translator stations in a four state area in the Midwest.[1] WHLP signed on air in October 2001. The call sign was originally chosen for "Worshiping His Loving Presence".
