Vishal Aditya Singh

Vishal Aditya Singh is an Indian television actor known for the portraying Lakhan Thakur in Begusarai , King Veerendra Pratap Singh in Chandrakanta, Tevar Singh in Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala and participating in Box Cricket League . He was the second runner-up in the dance reality show Nach Baliye 9. He was a wild card entrant in the reality show Bigg Boss 13.

Early life

Vishal Aditya Singh belongs to Behea, Arrah, Bihar from a middle class Rajput family. He was a district and state level athlete. He played district level cricket but couldn't pursue it and his idol is Cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni.[4] His family lives in Bihar, he has a younger brother.

He was interested in politics in his early age. If not actor, he would have become a Politician. Along with his few friends, he formed a small youth group Yuva Rising Stars through which they used to do local charities.

He also did some modelling assignments before coming to Mumbai to pursue his acting career.[5]

Career

Vishal Aditya Singh started his career with modelling. He made his acting debut in Ramanand Sagar's Bhojpuri serial Jai Jai Shiv Shankar where he played the main lead of Babu Saheb which used to be air on local bhojpuri channel.

Singh made his hindi television debut in 2011 with Chandragupta Maurya where he played the role of Shashank. From 2012 to 2013 he played in Sasural Simar Ka as Veeru.

From 2015 to 2016, Singh portrayed Lakhan Thakur/Shakti Thakur in Begusarai opposite Shivangi Joshi and Vibha Anand. This role brought him much fame and recognition.

Singh appeared in an episodic role in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya in 2016. From 2017 to 2018, he played Veerendra Pratap Singh in Colors TV show Chandrakanta opposite Madhurima Tuli.[6]

In 2018, he played Tevar Singh in Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala. His character of Tevar Singh garnered him both critical and popular appreciation and he won the Star Parivaar Awards for Favourite Mazedaar Sadasya.

In 2019, He participated in Nach Baliye 9 [7]with Madhurima Tuli. After that he participated in 13th season of Bigg Boss [8]as a wildcard contestant.
