Previously this train was introduced between Kacheguda (Hyderabad) and Guntur & Kacheguda (Hyderabad) and Tirupati, but this train was not successful on those routes due high patronage. So this train was cancelled on those routes and started this train on busy and profitable route i.e. Visakhapatnam - Tirupati section.
