Vilde Bøe Risa

Vilde Bøe Risa (born 13 July 1995) is a Norwegian football midfielder, who plays for Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC of the Swedish Damallsvenskan.

Club career

Bøe Risa joined Arna-Bjørnar in 2012 and went on to be an important player and club captain. She missed the entire 2017 Toppserien season with an anterior cruciate ligament injury, but recaptured her best form in 2018.

In December 2018, professional Swedish Damallsvenskan club Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC announced that they had signed Bøe Risa to a contract.[1]

International career

In September 2016, Bøe Risa won her first cap for the senior Norway women's national football team, in a 5–0 UEFA Women's Euro 2017 qualifying Group 8 win over Israel at Høddvoll Stadion. She scored her first national team goal shortly after entering play as a substitute.[2]

Personal life

Vilde's father Terje Risa played 96 matches for SK Brann between 1983 and 1986. He later served on the club's board of directors. He died in 2013 at 52 years old during a cycle ride.[3]
