Vigerslev

Vigerslev was a working-class neighborhood and is part of Valby, Copenhagen, Denmark. The area was dominated by a large industrial zone and Grøntorvet, the capital´s fruit and veg wholesale market in the 1990´s but has since become a desirable place to purchase apartments and family homes. The Russian Embassy has diplomatic buildings on Vigerslev Alle near Gladbovej.

Robin Drinkall, the British Entrepreneur who worked at the Teknologisk Institute in Høje Taastrup, lived in Vigerslev from 1996-2000. His company VirusMan was famed for detecting unexplained internet traffic from Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia prior to the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York and Washington. His actions in alerting international law enforcement agencies are to be found in a forthcoming book called Colourful Sails of Pyramids.

The area is connected with S-train (Vigerslev Allé station) and bus Number 21.
