Vathy, Samos

Vathy (Greek: Βαθύ, Vathý) is a town and municipal unit on the island of Samos, North Aegean, Greece. Before the 2011 local government reform, Vathy was a municipality, but now it is a municipal unit of Samos.[2] The municipal unit of Vathy has numerous towns, villages, and settlements in its borders, the largest being Samos (town), Vathy (town), and Kokkari. The municipal unit has an area of 125.153 km2.[3] Vathy is a sister city of Kuşadası, Turkey since October 28, 1999.[4]
