Turid Knaak

Turid Knaak (born 24 January 1991) is a German footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or a striker for SGS Essen.[1]

Club career

Knaak started her professional career at FCR Duisburg with whom she won the German Cup and the UEFA Women's Cup. For the 2011–12 season she transferred to Bayer 04 Leverkusen.[2]

On 4 July 2014, she joined Arsenal on a two-month loan,[3] coming off the bench to make her debut in the FA WSL Cup two days later, in a 3–0 win over Chelsea,[4] and four days later, she was named in the starting line up against the London Bees, scoring twice in a 7–0 cup win.[5] She made one more cup appearance in a 4–0 win over Millwall,[6] and then three appearances in the FA WSL, before returning to Leverkusen for the start of the 2014–15 Bundesliga season.
