Tough as Nails

Tough as Nails is an upcoming American reality competition television series set to premiere on CBS on July 8, 2020. The show is hosted by Phil Keoghan and will feature contestants competing in challenges at job sites that test their toughness over a series of 10 episodes, with one participant eliminated per episode.[1][2]

Format

The contestants are tested in competitions at real-world job sites with tasks that test their strength, endurance, life skills and mental toughness. One contestant will be out of contention for the individual championship at the end of each episode; however, contestants are not eliminated and have the opportunity to win additional prizes during team competitions throughout the season. At the end of the season, one contestant will be crowned as the Tough as Nails champion.[3]
