More than 1,100 students are enrolled at Tong Leadership Academy. Tong is a school of modern teaching, and has a state-of-the-art educational faculty.[2]

The current headteacher is Daniel Styles.[1]

History

In 2008 Tong High School went through a major remodelling. A new building was built and after vacating, the old building was demolished.[3]

In December 2016, the school converted to academy status, joining Tauheedul Education Trust, and was renamed Tong Leadership Academy.[4][5]

Sport teams

Boy's sport teams include those for football, rugby, cricket, swimming, trampolining, badminton and athletics (indoor and cross country).[6] Girl's sport teams include those for football, netball, rounders, gymnastics, swimming, cheerleading, trampolining, and athletics (indoor and cross country)and yoga
