Tom Green (born 23 January 2001) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the Australian Football League (AFL). A midfielder, 1.88 metres (6 ft 2 in) tall and weighing 85 kilograms (187 lb).

Early career

A grandson of former Richmond legend Michael Green, Tom was born in Townsville. Green was a member of the GIANTS Academy who received NAB Under-18 All Australian selection. Tom was also nominated for the 2019 NEAFL Rising Star Award. While growing up in Canberra which enabled him to be part of the GIANTS Academy, Tom attended school at Marist College Canberra.[2]

The Greater Western Sydney used their No. 10 pick in the 2019 national draft to recruit him.[3]
