Production
Development on a Billie Holiday biopic was announced in September 2019, with Lee Daniels directing. The titular role of Holiday will be played by Andra Day, with Trevante Rhodes, Garrett Hedlund and Natasha Lyonne also cast.[1] Evan Ross, Dana Gourrier and Erik LaRay Harvey were added to the cast later that month.[2] Additional casting was announced in October.[3]
