The Big Bull

The Big Bull is an upcoming 2020 Indian Hindi-language biographical financial crime film directed by Kookie Gulati of Prince (April 9, 2010) fame and produced by Ajay Devgn, Anand Pandit and Vikrant Sharma , Kumar Mangat Pathak.[2] The storyline is a retelling of stockbroker Harshad Mehta's life involving his financial crimes over a period 10 years, from 1980 to 1990.[3] It stars Abhishek Bachchan as Mehta.[4] Nikita Dutta and Ileana D'Cruz play supporting roles.[5] Principal shoot begun on 16 September 2019.[6] The movie will be released on 23 October 2020.[7]

In 2018, it was reported that Ajay Devgn will produce the film with Abhishek Bachchan to play lead role.[5] The film is directed by Kookie Gulati of Prince (April 9, 2010) fame and shows the financial crimes and life of Harshad Mehta. Nikita Dutta and Ileana D'Cruz were brought in to play supporting roles.[9]

The shooting commenced on 16 September 2019.[10]

Marketing

Abhishek Bachchan shared the first posters of The Big Bull on 2 January 2020.[11] The poster had a silhouette of Bachchan who can be seen signaling the audience to be silent with a finger on his lips.[12] Another poster of the film was unveiled on 13 February 2020 to announced that it will be released on 23 October 2020.

Soundtrack

This films soundtrack is composed by Guru Randhawa, JAM8 and Chandan Saxena. While the background score is composed by Sanjoy Chowdhury. The lyrics are written by Irshad Kamil, Amitabh Bhattacharya, Guru Randhawa, Bhargav Purohit and Vayu.
