Tesla is a 2020 American biographical drama film, written and directed by Michael Almereyda. It stars Ethan Hawke as Nikola Tesla. Kyle MacLachlan, Eve Hewson, Jim Gaffigan, Hannah Gross and Josh Hamilton also star.

In February 2018, it was announced Ethan Hawke had joined the cast of the film, with Michael Almereyda directing from a screenplay he wrote.[2]
