Bob and Mike Bryan of the United States were the defending champions, but they withdrew before the competition as a result of health concerns.[1]
Marc López and Rafael Nadal of Spain won the gold medal, defeating Florin Mergea and Horia Tecău of Romania in the final, 6–2, 3–6, 6–4.
