Tan Kar Hing

Tan Kar Hing (simplified chinese: 陈家兴; born 4 May 1982) is a Malaysian politician from the People's Justice Party (PKR). He is the incumbent Perak State Legislative Assemblyman for Simpang Pulai constituency. Tan was also a former member of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition's Perak State Executive Council for Tourism, Art, and Culture.[1] Tan was former Vice Leader of PKR Youth Wing (AMK) and is now acting as Vice Chairman of Perak PKR. [2]

Political career

In 2013, Tan first contested the Simpang Pulai constituency in the 13th General Elections of Malaysia and won with a majority of 11,083 votes.[3] He successfully defended the seat in the 14th General Elections of Malaysia, almost doubling his majority.
