Origin

In 2013, the Székely Land Football Association (Hungarian: Székelyföld Labdarúgó-egyesület) was founded in Budapest and was admitted to the N.F.-Board after the initiatives made by Kristóf Wenczel, lawyer with former sport background who serves as the president of the association and as well the legal counsel of some Hungarian football players who played in the national team.[3] However the N.F-Board became defunct the same year, since when its competitions have been run by the Confederation of Independent Football Associations.
