Swadeshi Jagaran Manch

The Swadeshi Jagaran Manch is a political and cultural organisation founded in 1991. It is an affiliate of the Hindu nationalist Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh that deals with economic issues.[2][3] Swaminathan Gurumurthy is a co-convener of the organisation.[4] Since at least 2015 the SJM has been critical of foreign direct investment.[5][6] The SJM advocates the use of freshly cooked food to fight malnutrition, in preference to ready to use therapeutic foods.[7]
