Susanna Mkrtchyan

Susanna Mkrtchyan (Armenian:Սուսաննա Մկրտչյան), born August 26, 1949 in Yerevan, is an Armenian Wikimedian and a professor of database and system research.[1] She coordinates Wikimedian Armenians who contribute on the Armenian Wikipedia,[2] In 2013 she founded the chapter organizing its first conference the same year.[3]

She is the president of the Wikimedia Armenia chapter since its foundation in 2013.[4]

In 2015, she received an Honorable mentions in the context of the annual award Wikimedian of the year attributed by Jimmy Wales.[5] · [6]
