Auditions

The promo of the show was released on 13 March 2019 and auditions were started from 23 March across various cities. The auditions ended on 21 April 2019.[3]

Judges

For Season 1, the show was judged by Himesh Reshammiya, Javed Ali and Alka Yagnik.

The show premiered on 29 June 2019.[4][5][6]

Mentors

For Season 1, besides the judges, there were four mentors/captains who were there to train the singers for better performances.[7]

Super Finale

The show came to an end with a Super Finale that was scheduled to be held on 6 October 2019 on Sony TV with Top-6 finalists among whom the 'Winner' was to be decided on the basis of public votes.

The winner, Prity Bhattachajee, was awarded the 'Superstar Singer Trophy' along with the cash prize of Rs.15,00,000. Apart from that, all the Top-6 contestants received an educational scholarship of Rs. 2,00,000 each.
