Sulfoacetaldehyde reductase (EC 1.1.1.313, ISFD) is an enzyme with systematic name isethionate:NADP+ oxidoreductase.[1] This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction

isethionate + NADP+ 2-sulfoacetaldehyde + NADPH + H+
