The State Industrial Development Corporation of Uttarakhand Limited (SIDCUL) is a government of Uttarakhand enterprise[1] which promotes industries and develops industrial infrastructure in the State. It also provides tax incentives for companies establishing plants on its industrial estates presently at Haridwar, Pantnagar and Sitarganj.[2][3]

History

SIDCUL was incorporated as a Limited Company in the year 2002 with an authorised share capital of ₹50 crores and ₹20 crores paid up capital through the Government of Uttarakhand in order to promote industrial development and develop an industrial infrastructure

Besides the State Government, SIDCUL has equity participation from the Union Bank of India, the OBC and SIDBI. Other banks are also in the process of participating in its equity. This has led to more than a thousand EOI’s with SIDCUL, which entail an investment of around ₹20,000 crores.

Uttarakhand Mukhyamantri Pravasi Swarojgar Yojana 2020

Under the Uttarakhand Mukhyamantri Pravasi Swarojgar Yojana, loans will be provided for projects up to Rs 25 lakh in the manufacturing sector and up to Rs 10 lakh in the service sector. As per MSME policy, the maximum limit for margin money in classified category A will be 25 percent of the total project cost, 20 percent in category B and B and up to 15 percent of the total project cost in category C and D. Benefits of Uttarakhand Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana 2020

  • The benefit of this scheme will be provided to migrant laborers in Uttarakhand.
  • The migrant laborers of the state will be provided loans by the government through nationalized banks, regional rural banks, state cooperative banks and other scheduled banks to start their own industries.
  • Under the Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana 2020, the Government of Uttarakhand will encourage entrepreneurs and migrant people of Uttarakhand for self-employment.
  • Under this scheme, the maximum cost of the project in the manufacturing sector will be Rs 25 lakh and the maximum cost for the service and business sector will be Rs 10 lakh.

Eligibility for Uttarakhand Swarojgar Yojana 2020

  • Applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttarakhand.
  • To avail this scheme, the minimum age of applicant should be 18 years.
  • The applicant or his family member will be benefited only once under the scheme.
  • There is no mandatory educational qualification under Uttarakhand Chief Minister Swarojgar Yojana 2020.
  • The beneficiaries will be selected on a first come first serve basis, which will be based on the feasibility of the project on receiving more applications.
  • Applicants, General Managers and District Industries Centers can apply online and manual.
  • The applicant must not have previously taken advantage of any other self-employment scheme operated by the Government of India or the State Government within the last 5 years.
